Dear colleagues,

10th International Conference of Balkan Association of Power Transmissions will be held. BAPT was founded in 2001, since then conferences were organized by many Balkan countries like Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Romania and Macedonia. It is the turn of Bulgaria again.

BAPT has been established as an authoritative organiation treating an extremely extensive and important technical area which core is the gear trains. This is why Power Transmissions and Gear Trains conferences are held all around the world. Nowadays there are conferences in China, France, Germany, Japan, Ukraine, UK, USA, Balkan countries, etc. There were also conferences in Hungary, Poland and Russia.

The large number of conferences and the high frequency with which they are held meet the objective need of engineering and science society. This situation raises the thought of something all-encompassing, which already feels a necessity.
